I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen (Berkeley, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Apply through university career center website; got the interview, really testing if you fits the company culture, especially if you really want to do something to serve patients; took a month to get the response of an offer from HR's phone call a a Friday night
Submitted my application in September, didn't receive an interview invitation until January. Got my offer in early February. The interview process was very quick and efficient. Three interviews total, with the final interview being a panel.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA)
Interview
Did not hear back for several weeks after each round, inconvenient in terms of communication. Needed to follow up, after each round. Both behavioral interviews, first round was 1:1, second round was with 2 senior managers on the team. Overall, kind people!
I applied online. I interviewed at Amgen (Washington, DC) in Dec 2023
Interview
Very relaxed sitting with the initial interview she just went over my resume and asked about my experiences. She asked why amgen and more about my personal life. What’s your biggest challenge and your biggest accomplishment.
