I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA) in Apr 2011
Interview
I had a phone interview first, which was followed about 7-10 days later with an offer to come visit Thousand Oaks. I gave a seminar and interviewed all day. Everyone I spoke with was very positive, but I did get asked a lot of tough questions. About 10 days after interviewing I received an offer and accepted.

I applied online. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA)
Interview
Applied online at the company's website. The recruiter contacted me three days later via email. We set up a phone call which lasted about 30 minutes. Overall, it was a pleasant conversation.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amgen in Jan 2025
Interview
The hiring process consisted of three rounds, but it felt rushed and lacked transparency. The HR phone screen and hiring manager call were scheduled back-to-back with no prior notice. After the final onsite interview, which required two days of travel and a six-hour on site interview. they ghosted me after two weeks. I get that no response usually means rejection, but failing to follow up after such an extensive interview process is just disrespectful.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen
Interview
30 minute call with hiring manager, on-site interview consisting of 1hr presentation and multiple 1-1's throughout the day (full day on-site), reference check was also conducted. Was a fair interview process, no surprises and people were very genuine.
