The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance in Aug 2011
Interview
I received a phone call the day after I applied. The first phone interview took about 15 minutes and was very friendly. A few days after that they asked me to interview at their local branch office. Again, the interview was very friendly and I felt like I was interviewing the company rather than the opposite. If you get through that stage they invite you to Rhode Island, all expenses paid. I met with three different interviewers separately, about 30 minutes each. They asked typical interview questions: are you willing to relocate? Tell me about a time when you disagreed with your team members. How do you keep organized, etc. I felt like all three interviewers asked me the same questions, many of which I only had one example for.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you and your team members were all overworked but you volunteered to take on more than your share of the project anyway.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance in Jan 2025
Interview
Relatively straightforward 2 stage interview process featuring a couple traditional meet and greets with on site management, review of interviewee skill set, and job fit discussion. Interviewing staff were friendly and asked typical interview questions. The proceedings included a brief tour of the office and a bit of job shadowing to convey core role tasks and responsibilities. Hiring managers were quick to share updates and final decision.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Lincoln, RI) in Jul 2019
Interview
I applied online with a referral from people I knew at the company. A recruiter reached out within a week to schedule a phone interview. The following week I had a skype interview, then I was asked to do a writing assessment, fill out an employment application and schedule an in person interview in Rhode Island. When they fly you out, they pay for the hotel and ride from the airport, and reimburse some additional expenses. The next day you meet with your host at HQ for breakfast, where you then have 3 interviews back to back with upper management, meet with trainers for the program and tour the campus before flying back home. You hear within a week on any offer. Everything is straightforward and professional and interact with different HR/talent managers from the company.

Are you willing to relocate to any of our locations across the country?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amica Insurance
Interview
The Interview Process was great. I first interviewed on my college campus with a recruiter and was then contacted for advancement to the final round at the Amica Home Office in Rhode Island. During this interview, you meet with various senior leaders and learn about the position you are applying for from trainers in the LTD department. Great interview experience!
