      Analyst Interview

      Apr 8, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amsive (New York, NY)

      Interview

There's a phone interview, then an in person interview with a member of the team you'll be working with and a few others. Next you get a practical task to test your graphing and coding and finally an interview with the CEO for culture fit. The supervisor interviews were easy as was the practical test. The CEO is the archetypal frat bro. Very intense and looking for loyalty and long term commitment which is understandable however a bit naive in this industry and climate. It was emotionally taxing and sort of like dealing with a child that hates you as soon as you walk into the room.
