      Interview

I'm a woman with 15+ yrs experience in digital and this was the most patronizing phone interviews I've ever had with a senior member in the co, R. He straight away tried to put me on the defensive, why do I want this job, I felt like saying well why should I work there?! Not sure they realize it's a 2 way street and you need to work at keeping and attracting talent. He kept insisting that I might be bored, again if the co isn't innovating or pushing then yes I'll be bored. We have 50 connections in common and I mentioned that he dismissed it as he's generous about connecting and can't be bothered taking the time to look. This level of fragile male ego is rare in business and can be seen only in its natural habitat, Tinder. Then I flustered him with more questions one asking how the co communicates, he told me they communicate too much as he gets too many emails. Again seriously?! Communication isn't emailing alone esp. in an agency. proceeded to get off the phone asap. Wrote him an email say thank but no thanks as this must the worst place to work if that's the phone interview.
