      Manager Interview

      Apr 25, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amsive in Feb 2024

      Interview

During my recent interaction with the recruiter, I noticed that they spoke at a rapid pace, which made it somewhat challenging to fully grasp the conversation. However, they appeared friendly and approachable initially. Unfortunately, I found their follow-up skills to be lacking, as they failed to provide the necessary updates as promised. Moving on to the second interview with the hiring manager, I was met with a sense of disinterest and even observed the manager appearing fatigued and possibly falling asleep during the interview. This unfavorable first impression left me concerned about their level of engagement and commitment to the hiring process. Additionally, it became apparent that the hiring manager lacked a clear vision for the role, which further raised doubts in my mind. To exacerbate the situation, the recruiter assured me that they would provide an update following the second interview, only for me to be left in the dark and eventually ghosted. This lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing, especially considering the company's size and longevity in the industry. The entire experience raised numerous red flags and indicated potential issues within the organization's communication practices.
