The interview process included eight senior executives and a number of Board members. Tests given included an intelligence test, a session with a psychiatrist, and several discussions on how I dealt with quality improvement challenges in my past consulting position. In addition, I was asked how I would address challenges in several hypothetical situations. Several of the interviews were with two leaders at a time. In all, I believe the interviews were productive, fair and would divulge most of what an employer seeks and/or what a prospective employee would want to learn about the position, company culture and the employer.
