I recently went through a 4-stage interview process with Analytic Partners, and while the initial impressions were positive, the overall experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
The first interview with HR was a pleasant and positive experience, setting a good tone for my interactions with the company. The second interview with a senior Marketing Science Analyst went well, with positive feedback at the end, primarily covering basic aspects of data analytics.
The third interview involved a case-study, where I was scheduled to discuss my approach and thought process. While the case-study itself wasn't overly difficult, the interview felt more like a casual conversation, with the interviewer aiming to understand my analytical approach and problem-solving skills. I encountered a few stumbling points, but overall, the feedback I received was positive, leading me to believe I was progressing positively in the hiring process.
However, the process took an unexpected turn during the fourth interview with one of the Dublin directors. This interview occurred 2 days after the case-study, even before the HR recruiter had received the feedback. While the conversation was more about getting to know each other and understanding my desired path within the company, it felt a bit rushed and disorganized.
The real disappointment came post-interview. The HR recruiter and the Director assured me that I would receive feedback on the case-study and a final response within a couple of days. However, it has been over a week, and I have not received any communication from the company. Despite my follow-up inquiries, I have been met with vague promises of a quick response.
This lack of communication and transparency is concerning. It feels like I have been ghosted after investing time and effort into understanding the company, preparing for four interviews, and receiving positive feedback along the way. The unfulfilled promises and lack of closure leave me questioning the company's professionalism and the sincerity of their commitment to candidates.
