I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Anduril (Orange, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Recruiter Call -> Phone Interview -> Onsite
Phone Interview:
Loved it. Enjoyed the real life game problem! Though it was me driving the meeting, working with the engineer (interviewer) felt like regular work.
On-Site:
TL&DR - It's your typical swe loop. Expect 2 - 3 DSA Interviews (Ranging from 2 - 3 Leetcode Mediums questions). And 1 System Design Interview (ExcaliDraw).
To be honest, the entire experience felt like navigating a minefield (defense ... fun). One misstep, whether in code or conversation, could set off a cascade of harsh criticisms. Acknowledging defeat and admitting limited experience in the sector did little to halt the relentless barrage of reproach. Basically you will feel your failure so I guess know your crap?
Overall, I didn't perform and couldn't adapt to the engineers. Sucks, the company is developing really cool products.
Advise - Do LC150 but know your crap. dsa, timers, os, back of envelop math, underwater basket weaving, etc. Expect a good grilling on-site. There's no help it's all on you. Doable with the militaristic mindset (I guess). Questions aren't hard.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
LC150. Crud System Design. Stars Behavioral Questions. Why Andruil Industries?
Had one interview, an hour long. Got asked to fix a data structure implementation (think tree or hashmap). It was pretty easy and chill. The interviewer was communicative and pleasant. Got a rejection after that.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril (Irvine, CA)
Interview
2 phone rounds, onsite consisted of 4 rounds. 2 coding and 1 sys design and 1 behavioral.
Company is notorious for not reimbursing the expenses for onsite. Keep that in mind before interviewing. HR ghosted me when confronted.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Number of islands,
Trajectories (binary search and simulation)
I did a preliminary interview and then a technical interview. They asked me about my experience and then in the technical interview we did an algorithm challenge. I thought they were relatively friendly.

They asked me how to get all of the combinations of an array.
