      Big Deal Consultant Interview

      Jan 24, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Indianapolis, IN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Angi (Indianapolis, IN) in Jan 2013

      Interview

I interviewed with 2 managers in one session. I was asked several boilerplate questions ("why should we hire you? what are your strengths/weaknesses?"). I was also asked to sell the product based on what I knew about it (not much). I was interviewed by 2 managers and it felt a bit like a "good cop/bad cop" situation. One manager asked me questions pertaining to my abilities and personal skills/life. The other manager asked me why I applied, why they would hire me, to sell the product, etc.

      Question 1

"How much money do you think you're worth?"

      Interview

First step is to complete an online sales exam evaluating your ability to be successful in a stressful sales environment. Then they will contact you for a face-to-face interview. Be prepared to allow your personality shine and for the mock sale.

      Question 1

I was not prepared for the mock sale at all. Just make sure you are establishing repoire with whomever you interview with and should formulate your sales tactics.
