I applied to JLL online through LinkedIn. There were around 3.5 rounds in total, it usually starts with an introductory call from HR, followed by three rounds of technical and managerial interviews, including one skill test (if required). In my case, the whole process took about three weeks, but I still couldn’t get through.
The first round was pretty straightforward — just basic questions about my resume and the role. I cleared it without any issues. The second round was a skill test, and honestly, I felt I did everything they asked to the mark. Still, I didn’t make it past that stage.
What I didn’t like was how long and unprofessional the process felt. After the test, there was complete silence from HR. I messaged the HR a couple of times but got no response. Finally, after two weeks, I sent another follow up, and only then did I get a very vague reply. No proper feedback, no clarity, you’re just left to assume what went wrong.
It was honestly quite tiring, especially when you feel like you’ve done well. If you’re applying, just be prepared for a slow process and make sure you keep following up regularly. Good luck!
Tip: If the role requires a portfolio, keep it handy and make sure you’re well-prepared to answer any questions related to it.
