Application
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ansys (Pittsburgh, PA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Asked me about which languages I am proficient in and projects I have done. There were very few behavioral questions asked. Interviewers were more focused on your skills and if you have enough background to do the work for the internship/co-op.

Question 1
How do you check if a string of characters is a palindrome?
I had two interviews. The first was with the hiring manager and was on the phone. It consisted of career questions and general interview questions. The second was also on the phone but consisted of mostly technical questions along some general career questions. Both people were really kind and easy to talk to.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ansys (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I introduced myself to the recruiters at a career/co-op fair held at my university. I gave them my resume and a brief introduction and the recruiter scheduled me for an interview later that day. We went over my resume and past experiences/project, then he asked me 3 simple programming conceptual and logic questions. The interview went well and the recruiter told me that he would speak with his manager about me. He told me that if the manager was interested that I would be contacted to schedule a second, more technical interview. A few days later I received a phone call accompanied with an offer letter without having taken the second interview.
