I applied online. I interviewed at Anthropic in Jul 2025
Interview
Applied online, no referrals, extremely excited because I absolutely love Claude! Got an email to get book an interview time slot. The interviewer barely maintaining eye contact, seemed a bit distracted and the questions were so long. She wasn't even listening to what I was saying. I could tell it wasn't going particularly well. At the end she told me she doesn't think it would be a fit for the role. The interview process usually takes a month or 2 depending on the role.
The full process as was explained to me was 1 screening interview with someone on the team, follow up screen interview with a recruiter, then a follow up with the hiring manager of the team, 5 loop interviews with other members of the team to determine cultural fit and if you know your stuff!

Question 1
What work are you currently doing and why do you want to join Anthropic?
The interview process overall was a positive experience. The hiring manager and HR were very professional and courteous. The take-home assignment was fair but they only gave a few days for it to be completed. Tough if you're working full-time but do-able. They moved really fast.
