My first and second interviews were with the VP of the hiring department. The first interview was question and answer - a brief review of my resume and experience. I was also asked about why I was looking for a change in job. For the second interview I was asked to prepare a presentation based on the VPs direction document about how I would execute as director. The presentation was for the VP only. The 3rd interview was a panel discussion with the VPs direct reports - three directors in the department. The interview was the presentation I gave to the VP, and about 20 minutes of questions. Key questions were: how would I respond to a situation where I made a recommendation, but the department receiving the recommendation would not implement it? Another question was: how do I foresee expanding the role of IT risk management from security focused to broader IT risk management? Finally, another question was: how do I plan on working with enterprise risk managment?
