      US Specialist Seasonal Interview

      Aug 6, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Apple in Jul 2025

      Interview

I applied online and was invited to complete an online assessment a few days later. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate whether your values align with Apple’s. The interview process consists of two phases, each with a different hiring manager. All interviews were relaxed and straightforward, with three questions per session. Each interview was conducted in a group format, usually with 2–3 candidates together. One thing to keep in mind: interview slots are first-come, first-served. If you get an invite, make sure to schedule your slot as soon as possible. Even if you miss the initial round, don’t worry, there will likely be more interview opportunities later on, though there may be a gap of around two weeks between rounds.

      Interview

The interview process went smoothly. I had my first round and received a callback the same day to move on to the next phase. For retail, at least in my area, there were only two rounds of interviews, and if they moved forward with you, you'd move on to onboarding. I unfortunately didn't get an offer back, and I think it may have to do with my performance in the second phase, but it is what it is. I'd say for me, tho, the person interviewing for Phase 1 was much more lax than the person for Phase 2, which would be with the store general manager. I kinda bombed the second round interview. I was a little nervous and was hit with rapid-fire questions. However, I did answer the questions the best I could, I just had little brief pauses trying to get my train of thought. Just be sure to be confident all the way through with your interview. Both rounds were group interviews! My first round was a group interview with 2 other people, and my second round was with only one other person. In my case, I was going up against people who already had insider information about the role from a referral, a girlfriend, and some people who worked at an Apple store in another location. These were the interview questions I got. I don't remember them word for word exactly, but these are a general/similar ballpark to the questions that I was asked. The questions may be different depending on the interviewer, so be ready and have questions and answers lined up. Hope this is very comprehensive and helps a lot of you, best of luck!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Phase 1: Intro: Tell me about yourself? What made you apply to Apple? What do you know about the role? How do you define success in your previous role? Phase 2: Introductions Tell me about yourself, and what do you already know about the role? Tell me about a time you had to solve a problem without knowing anything. Describe how your work demonstrates superior customer service, and share a story about a time when you received exceptional customer service? (Emphasize patience and listening skills) Tell me about where you initially took criticism negatively and how you went about it?
