Apple Product Design Engineer interview questions

Apple contacted me about an internship position after finding my resume on file. I had a phone interview scheduled where he gave me some information about the position, asked me to describe some of my previous projects, and then gave me two technical word problems. I was able to answer the questions very quickly, and was offered the position that same day after he finished interviewing other applicants.

it was completely technical, with very little focus on the person. The interviewer asked mechanical engineering questions and then went through the details in my resume. After talking about the resume, the interviewer wanted to see my designing process and set up some hypothetical situations where there was a problem that needed to be solved. Never was contacted again.
