I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Applied Intuition (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
Was a typical behaviorial interview. First had an informal call and then a first round interview. The recruiters I spoke with were very nice and transparent about the company and role. Ultimately did not receive an offer but had a good recruitment experience.

Question 1
- Tell me about your background. - What do you think would be most rewarding for you as a recruiter?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition in May 2025
Interview
The hiring process moved quickly, with all interview rounds and decisions wrapped up in two weeks. About 3 hours for on-site and one more interview after that. Need to show your sourcing skills.

Question 1
How to handle a large volume of recruitment demands within tight timelines?
I applied to Applied Intuition and spoke with the recruiter who promised to get back to me after our initial discussion. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up or communication thereafter. This lack of response is highly unprofessional and disappointing. The recruiter also seemed very disorganized and didn't seem to know what he was looking for.

Question 1
Tell me about your background and what you are looking to do.

Interview
Group meet and greet, 3 individual interviews, executive interview with 2 execs.
Group meet is biased against introverts and neurodivergents (like me) and throws people off for their next interview.
Interview topics provided were not what the interviews were about. Better to surprise me than research the wrong thing.
Executive interviewers both canceled 20 minutes before I arrived (along with yet another interview before). So much for my research. Interview questions were borderline illegal (see below). One exec was pretty great (asked the illegal question, but I blame lack of training, not him), the other had somewhere else to be and said so.
