The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Aptiv (New York, NY)
Interview
Got initial contact from an HR person.
Then a request to send my resume.
The position was not as described: different authority level.
They did offer a bit more money so accepted a request for an interview.
Very impolite as the manager was driving (very safe!). No one from HR connected. This led me to thinking the decision was already made and they were looking to just check a box from someone else.
The managers basically told me they had no idea what they were doing and hoped to get help to improve the processes.
Then the conversation took a turn to very philosophical questions such as "what makes you happy?"
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Aptiv (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2024
Interview
Good start with the TA team and a professional experience throughout the process. They were helpful and made the process easy to understand . It provided me with a good overview or Aptiv's structure and culture.
I applied online. I interviewed at Aptiv (Troy, MI) in Feb 2023
Interview
It's been 2 months without an answer after 3 rounds of interviews and continuous contact with the recruiter. No definitive yes or no. The process was pretty straight forward but the job description changed after the interview process started and so many things that will never be expected from a firm like this.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Same old questions anyone would ask. It was mostly all technical from experience.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Aptiv (Boston, MA) in Aug 2022
Interview
Interview was thorough. I got a fair chance to meet the company and a good representation of who I'd work with...So i thought they thoroughly evaluated me, and I had the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the company.
