      I interviewed at Aramark

      Interview

Went through two interviews: the first was via video, the second (which happened the same day) was conducted via phone. Both people that I spoke to were very pleasant, friendly and professional. I was told that they wanted to schedule a 3rd conversation with me. But that never happened and I was ghosted. In all honestly, that didn't bother me at all. I would've turned down the job anyway. They pretend to embrace the trend of remote or hybrid work post-pandemic. However, this company's version of hybrid is working from home on Mondays only. Tues - Thurs would require to be in the office. When I asked why, the only answer they could give me was that "well, we're paying for the office, so it makes sense to utilize it." Personally, I've been working remotely since before it was even cool (pre-pandemic). It makes me sad that some companies are reverting back to the antiquated brick & motor, Mon-Fri 9-5 office schedule.
