I applied online. I interviewed at Aramark (Baltimore, MD) in Mar 2015
Interview
Began the interview process with a phone call from Aramark about a hospital on the east coast looking for a Director of Dining Services position. I flew out and spent a day interviewing with the company and upon my arrival home promptly sent a thank you email to both Aramark and the contracted company. I waited for a week and didn't hear anything so I placed a phone call to the person at Aramark who had originated the interviewing process and left a message. I waited another week and still had not heard anything so I sent an email and placed another phone call. This time my call was answered and I was told that the hospital had decided to go in another direction. Yes I was disappointed but glad to have an answer. Two weeks later I was called back by Aramark and was told that the hospital decided that they wanted me to actually come back again and would I consider doing so. I agreed and flew back to the east coast and had another full day of interviews. Feeling fairly confident that things went well I sent yet more thank you emails and waited for a call from Aramark letting me know what the next step in the process would be. Once again, I waited a week and heard nothing. I followed up yet again with an email and phone and still NOTHING. Aramark is an exceedingly unprofessional, disrespectful, unorganized, unethical entity that thinks nothing of treating people badly.
