I applied for this job at around 4 PM on a Friday afternoon and around 6:30 PM I received a text message inviting me for a video interview with the hiring manager. I wanted to confirm that this was real, so I tried contacting the person who texted me via Linkedin. They did not respond to my linkedin message. About 4 days later, I received an email saying they were moving forward with different candidates. I thought this may have been a miscommunication, so I reached out to their office directly, and they scheduled me a Zoom interview the following day. The interview itself was with three team members including the hiring manager. It was relatively easy and polite, mostly just discussing the role and how I could fit into that, but they took time to explain that this can be a demanding job during summer months and also explained benefits. Roughly a week later, on a Wednesday, I received an offer for this role and was told I had until Friday to accept, but that I should reach out with questions. The offer letter did not mention anything about benefits, so I reached out to the hiring manager. Friday came and went and I did not receive a response to this, nor have I still not received one the following Monday. I'm not sure if this was the position for me but was very turned off from the unprofessional interview process.
