The interview preparation was primarily handled an external recruiter- who briefed me well for the meetings.
The company provided me with a good candidate experience. I was escorted to each of my interviews and I was taken to lunch. Each interviewer provided me with an overview of the company and the opportunity from their perspective- which was helpful because although there were common themes, some were more candid than others, which I think provided me with a more balanced view of the company, culture and role. All of the interviews were conversational in nature with some behavioral questions.
Although I my experience was managed while I was at the company, I did not feel that I had a primary contact person at the company that I could reach out to with any questions. This might of been because they relied on the external recruiter- who was effective.
I was not offered the role and the recruiter conveyed this to me, but did not provide any real feedback, which as a candidate is always helpful.
Culture- all in all from what I observed, the company seems to have a warm and friendly culture- a collegial environment. People greet each other in the hallways and seem to know each other well- (asking about their weekends etc.) It is also very informal- from what I was told, senior level executives are very approachable, interacting with all levels of employees. Everyone for the most part eats in the same cafateria.
It appears that the majority of the employees have been with the company for a long time, some for their entire careers, which from what I was told by each of my interviewers creates resistance to new ideas, innovation and change.
