I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ariel Corporation in Apr 2020
Interview
I was a senior in college interviewing for my first full time salaried position. During the interview process I was disrespected by one of my interviewers and unfortunately am still a bit annoyed by this 4+ years later. About 10 minutes into the second set of people I interviewed with for the day, one of the interviewers asked where I could see myself in 20 years and I said I hope to eventually create and run my own business. Perhaps this was a bit naive, but it was a 20 year timeline so I didn't feel like my response was too asinine. He immediately began to laugh and snicker with the other man interviewing me. He then stated, "Why would we invest 15-20 years training you to then have you leave and start your own business? Are you going to steal things you learn here and use them at your new business?" He continued to belittle me and act as though I was wasting his time. At that point I was pretty disappointed as I had already had to pass a background check and various additional preliminary interviews to even get an in person interview. I continued on to my 3rd set of interviewers for that day where they told me I'd likely have to work 5-7 years on second shift and/or midnights before I'd ever be eligible for first shift so I fortunately realized I would not even want the position if I was offered it. The entire experience left me very frustrated as that was never mentioned in the multiple preliminary discussions. Overall, this was my worst experience interviewing for a company.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ariel Corporation (Akron, OH) in Apr 2019
Interview
The interview process was friendly and fairly easy. The people I talked with were kind and very engaging I did not get a job offer but it worth my time meeting with them and discussing everything.
