I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Arista Networks (Santa Clara, CA) in Aug 2011
Interview
There was a one hour phone interview which was very rigidly structured and I was asked to write code in a shared terminal. The phone interview can be aced by anyone who has some recent experience in coding typical programming interview questions that are asked by every software company.
Followed by the phone interview, there were 2 in-person interview sessions ( 1 hour each ). This meant I didn't have to take a full day off at work, which is great. The in-person interviews were a little more open ended and again, it was very typical of software company interview questions. The interviewers do not ask anything from the resume and dive direct into programming questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Write code to find in-order successor in a binary tree.
Pretty good, not too complicated, was comfortable. Mostly LC questions, and was easy enough that you should be able to do it after doing NC150. good luck for the interview!
Starts with online test, then three rounds of technical interviews follow.
Not a lot of discussion, just go straight to the technical challenges which have to be solved in time
I interviewed at Arista Networks (Warsaw, Masovia)
Interview
By now I have had only first interview, that was focused on pure DSA. Despite that I would already recommend checking out gdb, cause it came in handy in my case.
