Initial phone screening with the internal recruiter. Then an onsite, 3-session, interview with the CFO, hiring manager, and two engineers. It went well enough to be invited back for an interview with the CEO.
Team fit seemed very important, which I respect, as it is important for me as well. My experience seemed to fit nicely with most areas of their work. For the other domain area, I was given the impression that technical expertise would be learned on the job as it is a bit niche. Questions delved into my experiences, with no coding nor problem solving technical questions.
I reached out several times to the recruiter who could not be bothered to respond with ANY update on the opportunity. Whether it was an individual failure or how the company operates, it was very disappointing to not be given at least a courtesy response when I have made the time twice for onsite visits.
