For a company that claims to be a "human-centered organization", their recruiting process is anything but. The internal recruiter didn't call when he said he'd call, he was late sending out a time take-home project. What stings is what happened after. I was told I made it to the final round of interviews . They would last a few hours back-to-back. I requested time off work to make it happen. The next day, they cancel the interview and tell me they want me to go back a stage. They then asked me what my availability was like for the same afternoon that they canceled on me as if they didn't suddenly make it wide open. It was too late to cancel my approved PTO. A few hours before the interview, I got the following email: "Unfortunately, a candidate just accepted our offer for this position, so this position is now closed. Please consider us for future opportunities. Thanks for your time." To this company, if I'm not what you are looking for, don't string me along for a month, make me waste my limited PTO, then cancel without even so much as a call or an apology. So much for being a "human-centered organization".
