I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
I was invited to a 30 minutes telephone interview, which was the first recruiting process step. It was a quite challenging interview with motivational and scenario-based questions. Some times the person who was interviewing me interrupted me which was a bit annoying but other than this he was very kind. I completed the interview and the next day I received a rejection email saying that they had some great interviews and they decided to not proceed further with my application. I know that they do not give feedback for these interviews due to high number of applicants but this is very annoying to me. I spent 2 days to complete the online application and another 5 to prepare myself for the interview. So I think that it is fair enough that the hr department spends 5 minutes to give me a short feedback explaining why I got rejected and what criteria I failed to fulfill.

I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (Leeds, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
Assessment day was engaging and challenging, what I had expected to get into such a big company. The only thing that I have taken a dislike towards ARUP is their recruitment process. This is the second time I have been offered an interview, both times I have had to wait 6-8 months in the dark. After the interview I only found out I was unsuccessful 3 months later as I was starting a completely new job.
The interview process was easy. The assessment centre has different sections and are time based. So we need not worry about giving the wrong answer, but they assess our thinking process.
