I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
They were extremely pompous during the interview process. Was left to sit and wait for interviewers. Expect to give an hour long presentation and when you are finished no one provides feedback.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and ensure that you receive the communications you need from our team, and in this case we fell short.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Asana
Interview
The interview process was very lengthy, met several members of the team (only 1 leader of color) and was actually encouraged to connect with a member of one of their ERGs. However, I decided I wasn't a fit and wanted to pull myself out of the process.
The recruiter encouraged me to continue in the process; mistakenly I did, only to be rejected a few days later. I believe the recruiter only asked me continue in the process for their diversity/data metrics (How many sources candidates make it to final). It felt reminiscent of Wells Fargo's alleged "fake interviews" for diversity to showcase they are trying to bring in candidates of color. As an experienced so-called diverse candidate/recruiter, I could sense I wasn't a fit and was not surprised by the declination, but I am very disappointed that I was led to believe that I was a strongly considered candidate only to have my time wasted for performative diversity interviewing sake. Truly a disappointing experience.

Very prompt in reaching out and scheduling. Interview itself was quite standard. Did not feel any connection when speaking with the hiring manager. I did not feel any compelling reason to leave my current situation
