I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ascension (Saint Louis, MO) in Feb 2020
Interview
Interview process was too large of a group who was uninterested and had no idea how to conduct an interview. Didn't have a set of questions and instead only used what i believe are google-able answers as the only acceptable answer (they would only accept the first answer google shows up since it seemed like the questions being asked were not from SMEs of that topic).
I had a great interview experience for a Software Engineer role! The conversation was smooth, and the interviewers were welcoming, making it feel more like a discussion than just a technical assessment.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ascension (Singapore) in May 2022
Interview
not hard and not so easy. I need to review it so I have to type in something. The system require me to enter more than 30 charater which I think it is enough
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ascension (Austin, TX) in May 2020
Interview
Initial call with Hiring Manager: Asked general questions about software best practices and behavioral topics.
Technical Call with 2 SWE: Knowledge based questions regarding Angular, Javascript, and Spring.
Technical Call with 1 Engineering Manager and 1 SWE: Knowledge based questions regarding Java 8 and Spring
Both the manager and software engineer were extremely rude and judgmental during the last call. He dismissed my previous work experiences, and misread my resume. The other software engineer was rude as well, he questioned my experiences and was disorganized in the way he asked questions. The last interview ruined it for me for this company. Lastly they hire mostly contractors, pease do not apply to this company for engineer positions, if you want to work with contractors, sounds like they don't enjoy their jobs at all.
