Online resume submission through company application portal. Initial chat with local HR. Subsequent online interview with immediate director. Then follow up with another unit manager and immediate director where I had to present case study response (free ideas). Neither person asked any questions or provided follow-up comments during my presentation; seemed like they were merely ticking a box. After final interview, waited 2 weeks without hearing a response. Followed up and magically, they had their response of 'no' almost immediately. So they were going to ghost me without basic courtesy. Subsequently found out the position went to someone with 4 years less experience and that I was just as experienced as the manager of the team. Interesting.
