I was approached by Celeste, an internal recruiter for Atlassian. We spoke via phone and Skype a few times and she was very keen to pursue me for a fairly senior HR role in Sydney. I was invited to a Skype interview with the global head of HR based in the US. And then I was ghosted. I followed up a few times to confirm that the process was terminated and in the hopes of maybe receiving some feedback on my background, interview etc but never heard from them again. Given that Atlassian reached out to headhunt me from the start, I would have at least expected a call to let me know they had decided not to continue discussions. Their lack of candidate care was appalling and showed a disappointing level of arrogance.
