I applied online. I interviewed at Atlassian in Nov 2021
Interview
It was pretty easy. Applied, received an email about a day or two later to schedule a call, had a call with the recruiter/hiring manager - she told me I'd move to next steps, it took about 4-5 days for a coordinator to reach out to schedule my next interviews but got those scheduled and then spoke to a few people over the course of two days. Everyone was super nice. In my Zoom interview with the hiring manager she told me I'd hear back by the following Monday - never heard back and a week passed and she finally emailed me and asked to connect a few days later. We finally connected and she gave me a non-update update which was they were still working through the process and she would get an update to me by that Friday.
..... three weeks have passed and I haven't heard anything. Obviously, I didn't get the job but I would assume a company that's so highly regarded would at least have the wherewithal to click the "reject" button in their ATS because it's truly that simple.
I get that they're a super high volume recruiting operation, but it's so easy to just click "reject" in your ATS - I'm a recruiter, I would know :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic situational questions - STAR method oriented
I had an RPS, hiring manager screen and then a final round panel with a values interview and competency specific questions (around 3.5 hours). I was prepped for each round and I was moved with efficiency throughout.

Question 1
- walk me through how you stay updated on market intelligence/trends in the recruiting industry - walk me through recruiting tools you used - tell me about a time you failed - tell me about a time someone told you no and how you handled it
Phone screen and a virtual onsite interview. No take home test or assignment like some other companies tried to get me to fill out. Straight forward. Nice interviewers. Smooth process from beginning to end.

Interview
Very poor experience. 4+ of behavioral based interviews. Lack of follow up from recruiter and rejection note after finals via email. I would not recommend this company or the process based on this candidate experience.
