I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian in Jan 2023
Interview
1) Started interview process with Hackerrank. You probably need a perfect to get past this round.
2) After submitting, heard back probably the same day or day after to arrange a technical. The technical is something like LC medium but not really that difficult imo. You should also practice social interviewing skills (talking thru work, clarifying questions, etc.)
3) Heard back the morning after to do the final behavioral. Make sure to practice typical behavorial questions, that's pretty much it. Kinda like a vibe check
Got the offer a week or so after the final.

Question 1
LC medium, not typical leetcode -- try practicing with Hackerrank questions
The process started with an online assessment (OA), which was reasonably balanced in difficulty. Candidates who passed were invited to a live coding interview conducted over Zoom with a software engineer. The interview focused on data structures and algorithms, with an emphasis on problem-solving approach, code clarity, and communication throughout the solution.
Technical round was very good, behavioural round was unprofessional. Interviewer showed up late, left call mid sentence, and did not seem to have any interest in the actual interview. Very robotic

What was a trade off you dealt with at your last internship
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in Mar 2025
Interview
OA is very standard, a couple random questions of easy - medium leetcode difficulty. Afterwards, there will be a technical that focuses on data structures and then a values interview.

For OA, just a bunch of leetcode questions - random for each person.
