I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Atlassian
Interview
Recruiter told that 2 tech interviews would be there in the start. Both interviews were scheduled by coordinator at time I didn’t confirm my availability at and that was the reason I couldn’t focus on them. After first interview, which was average, I got email that I will not be considered further but then my second interview was scheduled (I got an email about it). I reached out to recruiter and coordinator and both didn’t respond back.
I was reached out by second interviewer few days later that he waited for me but I didn’t connect while I had to clarify to him that this is something for which he should ask his recruiter for more clarity on. Unfortunately the hiring process seems to be broken there.
This recruiter was unprofessional and unreliable. They did not show up for the scheduled interview twice and gave no explanation. It was disappointing and showed poor communication. Such repeated no-shows and lack of follow-up reflect poorly on the recruiter's reliability and respect for candidates' time.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in Jan 2023
