I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Amsterdam) in Sep 2020
Interview
Recruiter was pleasant and helpful, communication was easy. I received pretty detailed feedback after the process was finished which was great but also left me puzzled (see below).
I had 30min with the interim manager (as manager just left) which was professional and productive. Few days later, there was a 2h interview marathon (not recommended) 4 people, 30 min each, with 15min break in the middle. 2 of the people created a good interview space and it was very much a dialog. The cultural fit interview was interesting.
Interviewer 3 was somehow not happy with me asking questions about the company as I wanted to learn more, and it was also visible in the feedback I got. Interviewer 4 which was a potential tesm mate was distracted and seemed to just read questions of a script and that's it, but didn't listen to my answers.
I also got feedback that I was late 7 min to one of the interviews and didn't say why - which was incorrect, as I was late 3min due to WiFi issue and of course first thing I did was to apologise.
Overall I got a vibe that the company thinks it's extremely special and I should be begging for the job.
