The initial call I had with the recruiter provided me with a rough idea about the job and the technical skills required. The recruiter asked about the different networking tools I'm familiar with; data management and dashboarding systems like Splunk; databases and related topics. This was followed by an initial technical interview which asked basic stuff like bash scripting; SQL troubleshooting; DNS resolution; performance troubleshooting and other networking commands. The second technical interview was more scenario-based and a bit more hands-on. It wasn't like a quiz, but more like a discussion between professionals Finally, I had an interview with the manager focusing on the Atlassian values, my superpowers, and the general questions related to my future plans, family structure, and key motivators. This part of the interview never stops at Atlassian. The managers are so much interested in you as an individual that they continue asking more about you, your history, your family, etc.
