I Applied for Enterprise Support Engineer role in Bengaluru and the process took over 2 weeks. THe first round was technical round which has series of question from linux, Database and Java Heap and also some scenario based questions. Overall, it is basic questions and they mainly check your troubleshooting skills. I cleared that round and next was F2F interview which has 2 managerial rounds.
The first round was with Premium Support Mangers and they would mainly ask you about your previous jobs and why you would like to change from the current role. It is mostly behavioural type of question which you can google and prepare accordingly. Having said, that i felt that one of the interviewer wouldn't let me complete anything as he felt it was not convincing for him. I gave very honest answers but they didn't like it(by the looks of interviewer).
He asked about whether I have received any feedback? I started telling good feedback but they wanted to hear about bad one. I started telling about my initial days but they wanted to hear the recent one. Things like this would ruin overall conversation as we as an IT engineers, often make lot of mistakes in the beginning of the career and we evolve over the time. I am having 9 years of experience and over the recent times, I couldn't think of any feedback which had drastically improved in my career but they were keep grilling on same thing. The culture fit interview was not upto the mark and interviewer definitely lacks empathy towards Indian IT engineers . I don't know about other countries but as an Indian, been assigned any work and equipped with proper training, we adapt ourselves in any culture and would never try to break the harmony. If the questions being framed keeping that in mindset, the interview would be breeze for both the sides in my humble opinion.
