I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Audible (Newark, NJ) in Sep 2015
Interview
I submitted my resume online and soon received a call from a recruiter who asked me if I would be interested in completing an online assessment. The online assessment was about 30 mins long and required that you record yourself, on camera, answering a few of the questions. It also asked me to write some short essay responses, respond to some sample customer interactions, and to answer questions about basic computer skills and classic literature.
Soon after that I was scheduled for a second, in-person interview. I was told that this interview would last approx. 1 hour and I worked my schedule out to fit around that time frame. Much to my surprise, the interview only lasted about 10 mins. The receptionist and woman who directed my to the conference room were very nice, but the people I interviewed with were awkward and dry. I had heard so many things about how friendly and comfortable the environment was at Audible, that I was shocked at how quiet, awkward, and uninterested the interviewers were. I expected members of the customer service team to have much better communication skills. The questions they asked me were generic and I am pretty sure they asked the same question, three different ways. When the interview was done, one of the interviewers rushed me out the door and that was it.
Needless to say, I was not shocked to receive the email two days later, that I was not selected for the position.
I was upset to see that their team cared so little about the time and effort candidates put into applying there.

3 step process it was different than the normal average interviews I've become accustomed to. I would go further into detail but instead I'll just say to apply! You will not be disappointed in anyway shape or form!
