I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AutoZone (Duarte, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
It was okay, since most autozone's do not have an interview room or a private room, they interview you in the back where all the car parts are. The process was okay. You get interviewed twice, a store manager and the district manager, then they will call you. I was originally asking for a certain pay because I have 6 years of work experience, which was within their pay budget, and they called me back with a lowball offer. Of course I needed a job back then so I took a paycut and accepted.

I applied online, got a call from a store manager a week later, went to interview at local AutoZone hub during their hiring event, and had to go to orientation at another facility farther away.

Applied through online application. Was invited to a hiring event and asked basic questions about car parts. Most questions were about myself and a few were about the actual car parts.
