I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Interview process took over 2 months. A recruiter contacted me through LinkedIn. Did a phone screening interview with the recruiter and a phone interview with the UX director a week later.
I had a in person interview with 6 people from Project Mangers, other UX Designers, ux researchers.. basically everyone who you will be working with. The questions are mostly about your design process, and how you would handle different situations.
After the interview, you are required to do portfolio presentation for everyone who you interviewed with.

I applied online. I interviewed at Autodesk (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2023
Interview
Interview with hiring manager, design activity, and round with product team. The design activity was not great as it was very much focused on their product. Also it as a takeaway task.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2021
Interview
The overall process took ~1.5 months including Christmas break in the middle. A typical interview structure that filters candidates down: screening-> hiring manager ->panel presentation -> 1:1s.
Everyone I talked to was super supportive and professional which left me a good impression of the company.

Panel presentation:
Walk through 2 cases, with thought process, decision making and reflections. Followed by contextual questions based on what you presented.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Autodesk (Portland, OR) in Jan 2018
Interview
Working with recruiter was uneventful. First and second interviews were phone and panel interviews that were also uneventful. 3rd was ½ day meet the teams followed by a design exercise. Team was all white men. It was between myself and one other candidate, who was a man (I know because the person who referred me told me later). I didn’t get the job and when I asked why the hiring manager said they were worried I wouldn’t understand the technology.
We had discussed during interview process that I have experience literally using their product as a robotics coach and when in R&D lab at Intel designing and building prototypes.
I advise caution if you are a woman or POC. They didn’t even understand that having said what they did to me is an HR nightmare.
