I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Autodesk in Mar 2023
Interview
This process was a mess from beginning to end and left me with the impression of an extremely chaotic company. After a nice chat with the recruiter, he had a lot of trouble securing time with the hiring manager for this role. It took 4 weeks from speaking with the recruiter to speaking with the hiring manger. Then Autodesk went quiet for two months and I assumed they had gone with other candidates and hadn't bothered to tell me. All of a sudden, recruiter was back in touch and frantically trying to get time with me to speak with 3 more people. I ended up doing 3 interviews in 24 hours because there was suddenly a huge amount of urgency to get these interviews done. I was told they would be making their decision imminently and I would hear 2 days later. I was a fool to believe them...another 2 weeks go by with nothing, and then an automated Workday e-mail informing me I had been rejected. After 5 separate interviews, I think the least they could do would be a short, personal e-mail, especially as this was for a role in customer experience!! Overall not a good impression of Autodesk and its famed "culture."
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The weirdest question I was asked was "If you were in this role, and interviewing a manager for your team, what would you tell them about Autodesk's policy on inclusion and diversity?".
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Seoul) in Oct 2022
Interview
First interviewer did not show up so I had to ask my headhunter of interviewer's whereabout. Interview process was in parallel and not in order. The final interview with global head was arranged even before I have a panel interview.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Autodesk in Mar 2022
Interview
Recruited by recruiting manager via LinkedIn back in March 2022. Had a 30min call with her to understand more about the role and the benefits of working for Autodesk. She is a raving fan of Autodesk and I was really impressed with the company. Then met with the hiring manager and was moved on to a panel with other managers within the organization as well as a panel of employees that would report to me. Had a final interview with a business partner. I reached out letting the recruiter know I had another offer and within a day had final call with hiring manager and final offer.
