Did an intro interview with the hiring manager that was great.
Did a take home design challenge.
Then a panel to present the challenge that was a good experience.
And then an interview that was described as a "get to know each other" discussion with a VP. The VP preceded to ask me to present a case study. I explained I was not comfortable doing a case presentation after being told the interview was for a totally different purpose, not mention it would be fair to have appropriate prep time for a presentation.
This VP demanded that I present a case study, then proceed to behave in a very inappropriate manner--constantly interrupting, expecting me to present some design project that fit their narrow definition of what design projects are, rude comments and insinuations, etc.
I went on to land a job at a certain fruit inspired tech company not long after this negative experience...validation is sweet.
