Avid Technology interview questions

I applied online and heard back within a couple of weeks. My first interview was a phone screen with a recruiter. The person promised to get back to me within a week if the hiring manager was interested, which the individual did. I then had a phone interview with the hiring manager and was invited in for a 1:1 interview a few days later. I thought my interview went well, because the hiring manager expressed that they were "definitely interested" and would be in touch "next week" to set up a time for me to meet the entire team. After two weeks had passed, I followed up and received no response. I checked the web site and noticed that the job had been removed. The people were pleasant and professional, but I was disappointed that they didn't have the courtesy to tell me, at least in email, that I was not going to move onto the next step, especially after they had expressed their interest. The office space was nice, but very open. The partitions and office walls were glass. People were a little more dressed up.
