I spent a significant amount of time preparing for this role and felt the interviews went well. The final interview took place the day before Thanksgiving and included a one-hour onsite interview as part of the last round.
If the decision was not to move forward, a simple rejection email would have been sufficient. Instead, after sending a thank-you note and multiple follow-up emails, I never received any response or formal closure.
This lack of communication does not align with the expectations one would have for a large, established organization. Regardless of the outcome, candidates who reach the final stage deserve timely and professional follow-up.
The experience was disappointing and reflected poorly on the company’s hiring process and respect for candidates’ time.
