The interview process was bearable. I was made to feel 'at ease' semi comfortable to start things off. I feel the interviewer could have made it more of a conversational inquisition, rather then reading pre-prepared questions off of a print out - that in itself gave me the impression that I was just another 'candidate', going thru being put thru the motions and I would be 'judged/rated' based on someone's view of how I answered a list of questions rather than having the interview 'geared' towards the candidate. Actually reading the resumes of your candidates prior to them sitting in front of you could help with this. Then the hiring decision would be based more on your fact finding from asking the 'right' questions (gaps in employment, 'I see you are a seasoned traveler, please explain', 'I see you held 5 positions in 3 different states in 2 years - all with different companies. May I ask why the frequent changes?'. I feel interviews is a time to get to know you candidates, find out what exactly their resumes cannot or is not telling you.
