I applied online at in August 2010 and was soon contacted for a phone interview with two current OLDPs. The interview was straight-forward and they asked questions about my school, project, and work experience. The interviewers were very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.
In November, they had a 2-day on-site interview process. For their interview process, they brought nearly all of their current OLDPs to their headquarters in Nashua to participate and get to know the candidates. The first day of the on-site interview consisted of mingling with current program members, a presentation by their VP Operations, a presentation by a few of the OLDPs, a tour, a hands-on group activity, and dinner. The second day of the interview consisted of a 1-on-1 interview with one of the OLDPs and then 3 behavioral 5-person panel interviews. They made sure that the panel interviews were not repetitive by giving each one a theme (leadership, experience, and yourself). They did a good job of making candidates feel at ease during the panel interviews and throughout the entire process. You could tell that the OLDPs enjoyed what they were doing and that they had a true sense of community and comraderie in the program.
