At first, my experience with BAT was very positive. The HR representative was responsive, and the process started quickly. I had my first interview within a short time, and the feedback was encouraging—they mentioned they liked me and wanted to move me to the second stage, although it might take a little time.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. It has now been over a month and a half, and despite following up politely a couple of times, I never received any further updates. I was completely ghosted.
This was disappointing because I genuinely believed in the company and had high expectations for a professional recruitment process, especially from a company with BAT’s reputation. The lack of communication left a very negative impression, regardless of the outcome.
Overall impression: The initial stages were promising, but the absence of transparency and follow-up made the experience frustrating and unprofessional.
