The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BB&T (Winston-Salem, NC) in Oct 2011
Interview
There were a few behavioral interview questions and the standard going over the resume. Why are you the best candidate for this program? What was the cause of the financial crisis? Those were two you should expect to answer. Overall, it felt pretty laid back. If you have prepared for behavioral interview questions, there shouldn't be any surprises.

Question 1
What do you believe was the biggest cause of the financial crisis?
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BB&T (Columbia, SC) in Jan 2019
Interview
Applied online and get an on campus in person interview. It’s been over a month and still haven’t heard anything. They said the process would take a long time but over a month to hear is way too long.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BB&T (Houston, TX)
Interview
Applied for the Early Career Program through university website. Was invited for an on campus interview but the day before they cancelled and changed it to a phone interview. Interviewer was late to call and rude. A few weeks later was invited to NC to interview for the Leadership Development Program which I did not want due to immediate relocation to NC. Emailed them asking to be considered for EC still instead but was not responded to. Went ahead and attended the LDP interview. Half a day of interviewing. Emphasizes BB&T values to the max so know those. One basic behavioral interview and one interview where you talk about a case study you did right before and how you solved it. The case study is very simple and does not require any technical knowledge. They emphasize you must be open to do any job and move any where they place you at completion of the program.

Question 1
What is one of BB&T’s values you use in your everyday life?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BB&T (Winston-Salem, NC) in Oct 2018
Interview
I got recruited through my school. We had on campus interviews, which was one person who went through the person asking a handful of very structured behavioral questions; there was only one regarding financial services as a whole. After first round, we were sent a personality assessment. Around two weeks later heard about a superday that occurred in Winston Salem at the headquarters. This consisted of 3 45 minute interviews which was also all structured behavioral with older executives, and then one case that we wrote an essay about.
