I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BD (Winnersh, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
The time from initial application and invitation for interview was quick. Had an initial chat with the Talent Acquisition Partner which was followed up with a formal invite to attend a competency based interview. The invite was very good outlining the format and who I was going to be interviewed by, there were even helpful links about the products and interview preparation. I clearly was not what they were looking for as the interview ended after 30 minutes and I was not afforded the opportunity to take the Competency based questions stating that this was to be done in the next phase should I be successful.
On reflection I know where I went wrong but I feel that if you are asked to prepare for an interview you should be given the curtesy of getting the full interview if nothing else it gives one the chance to redeem themselves and the interviewers get to know you and your skills and strengths which might be useful for future roles.
