This process took over a month from the start of interviewing with the recruiter, I thought the interviews went great. The first interview was with the hiring manager they didn't ask me a whole lot of questions it was spent mainly explaining the position. The following interview was with two of the employees (due to complications from the hiring manager)in that department which I felt went amazing, they both were easy to click with and even though they weren't super prepared (they didn't have my resume) the interview felt natural. A week later I get notified via hr that they are going with another candidate. I was incredibly blindsided due to previous positive comments made in the interview by the employees. I asked for feedback which they said was against their policy to give. I have then applied for other positions in BECU that I'm more than qualified for and they are refusing to even interview with me, rejecting me hours after applying. I am very disappointed in my experience with BECU. I have many years in the financial industry and have worked with many different banks and credit unions and have never experienced such a difficult company. It's made me even doubt my own membership with BECU.
